The four-step routine that covers 90% of skin concerns
You don't need eleven steps. You need the right four, done consistently.

Cleanse, treat, moisturise, protect. That's the entire skeleton of a routine that works — everything else is seasonal, occasional, or optional.
The treat step is where most of the actual change happens: a vitamin C in the morning, a retinoid or exfoliating acid at night, rotated so they never compete on the same evening.
Moisturiser isn't optional even for oily skin — it's the step that keeps your barrier from overproducing oil to compensate for dehydration. Pick a gel-cream over nothing.
SPF is the only step that, skipped consistently, undoes the other three. If you only have energy for one non-negotiable, that's it.
